Google Play editions Galaxy S4 and HTC One get Android 4.3 update

Google has started to roll-out the Android 4.3 update for Google Play Edition smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One
Just nine days after the official announcement of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, reports have been made of over-the-air updates for Google Play Edition smartphones users.
According to Anandtech, users on both Google Play's HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 will receive the 4.2 OTA notification.
The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update was initially released on Google Nexus phones and tablets featuring Bluetooth Smart (aka Bluetooth Low-Energy) and OpenGL ES 3.0 support for high performance graphics.
The update also brings a few handset-specific updates as well as changes for developers.
In addition to the Android 4.3 features, twitter user @nfj has spotted increased icon sizes on the widget panels for both phones.
Bluetooth Tethering has also been added to the Galaxy S4 as well as Android's gradient background replacing solid back.
Also spotted is infrared support for the HTC One.
The update size is around 150MB for the Galaxy S4 and slightly larger at 180MB for HTC One.
Reports are only showing that the update is arriving to users over-the-air, and not all regular users will see it yet as Google are rolling it out in stages.
